Since being invited for her first solo show at Century Gallery in Henley-on-Thames, Caroline has successfully exhibited with many leading London and provincial galleries for the past 15 years.

Her work has become increasingly sought after, with examples in collections throughout the UK and overseas. Caroline's principal aims are to portray the light, colour, and atmosphere of the landscape with an honest and spontaneous approach, resulting in striking and vibrant painting.
Artist Statement
My work reflects my love for places I have visited, usually on holiday, but sometimes on specific trips at other times of the year. I work mainly from sketches, memory, and intuition, trying to recreate a feeling and atmosphere that I felt at the time. Many elements come together in making a painting successful, colour and tone, line and edge, composition and texture, but there is also that unknown factor which makes painting special.
I feel very lucky to live in Somerset, and have access to so many wonderful places in the South West.
I hope for the Ten Parishes festival that I have put together an exhibition which will be enjoyed by the viewers as much as I have enjoyed painting it.
